#Life

Ghana’s rivers are dying under decades of illegal mining. Mercury, cyanide and toxic silt have turned the Pra, Ankobra and Offin into slow-moving poison that threatens millions of people, destroys fisheries and poisons unborn children.

Your donation powers the solution:
We are sending heavy dredging teams into the worst-hit 5-kilometre stretches around Obuasi and the Pra basin. Every tonne of contaminated sediment we remove is processed on-site to safely recover residual gold (which we sell as certified Clean Origin gold) and then treated so it can never pollute again. Cleaner water returns within months – fish come back, riverbank farms revive, and families finally have safe water to drink.

We need £900,000 to launch the first phase right now.
This covers the excavators, fuel, local labour, independent testing and the full clean-up of 5 critical kilometres – protecting tens of thousands of mothers and children downstream.

Donate now and help us turn Ghana’s poisoned rivers into lifelines again.
Together we break the toxic spiral – one clean kilometre at a time.
