#Life

For decades, communities have been told “the river is fine” while their children tremble, forget words and are born too small.
TerraEcho ends the lies.

We install solar-powered sensors along Ghana’s most poisoned rivers that continuously measure mercury, cyanide, pH and turbidity. Every week our mobile clinics test children under five and pregnant mothers. The results go straight to public village dashboards and a national online map – undeniable evidence that forces illegal miners to shut down and regulators to act.

In our first three pilot rivers, communities have already used TerraEcho data to close illegal sites and win government enforcement.

We need £500,000 to protect 50,000 people in Year 1.
This covers:
- Full sensor networks on five major rivers (Pra, Ankobra, Offin, Birim and Tano)
- 12 months of mobile child-health and prenatal clinics
- Training 100 local citizen scientists
- An open-source national data portal anyone can access

Every data point you fund becomes proof in a mother’s hand and power in a community’s voice.

Donate now and give Ghana’s children the evidence they need to grow up healthy.
